Put oil in a large hot pan or wok and over a medium heat fry ginger/chili mix for a few minutes. Add the crab pieces and stir fry at a higher heat till crab pieces turn red. Increase heat to medium high and bring to a boil. Remove cover and stir in tomato paste and chili sauce.

Steps to make Chili Crab:
  1. Heat up the wok and placed all the ingredients into the wok except the crab.
  2. Once it's boiled then put in the crab and covered for 10 to 15 minutes
  3. Put in an egg and stirring and ready to be served

Increase heat to medium high and bring to a boil. Remove cover and stir in tomato paste and chili sauce. Eating home-cooked chili crab was a celebration in my family—the preparation (imagine "capturing" those feisty crabs that "escaped" the nets and roamed freely in the kitchen!), the cooking, and of course, the eating. It was sheer fun; lots of fun. To make the Chili Crab: Now clean the crab legs again, then pat dry with paper towels.
