  11. Prepare Ground Chilli *as required
  12. Make ready 1 tablespoon Curry Powder
  13. Prepare 1 tablespoon Sugar *add extra if you like it sweeter
  14. Prepare 4 tablespoons Soy sauce
  15. Make ready 4 servings Cooked Rice

Add in the dissolved katakuriko to thicken the sauce. Finally, season the dish with soy sauce. Soboro is a simple as sautéing ground meat and seasoning it with the super classic and flavorful combination of soy, mirin (more on that later), sake, and sugar. The key to soboro is breaking up the ground meat into small even crumbles.

  1. Cut all vegetables into small pieces, the size similar to Peas.
  2. Heat Oil in a frying pan and cook Minced Meat. When Meat changed colour, add all vegetables and cook for a few minutes. Add Curry Powder and cook until the vegetables are softened.
  3. Add Sugar and Soy Sauce, and cook a few more minutes. Add Ground Chilli if you like extra spiciness.
  4. Enjoy with freshly cooked rice.
