  1. Take 150 g boiled green grams
  2. Make ready 50 g courgett, roughly chopped
  3. Prepare 50 g carrots roughly chopped
  4. Make ready 1 large diced onion
  5. Take 1 medium sized diced green bell pepper
  6. Make ready 1/2 litre water

  4. Take off heat.
  5. Serve warm or hot with rice or chapati.

For the courgettes, place the courgette ribbons into a bowl, mix with the oil and season well with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Heat a griddle pan until smoking. Add the courgette ribbons in batches and griddle for one minute on each side, or until brown griddle marks form on both sides. When marrow, courgettes and carrots are plentiful in the summer and autumn, what better way of getting all their goodness than a warming vegetable Courgettes continue to be plentiful and are an amazingly versatile vegetable. You can put them in most stews and add to lasagne and pasta dishes.
